On the first health day of each month, students will be introduced to a new vocabulary word. Throughout the school year, the students will increase their PE/Health vocbulary.
Sodium= is a mineral that helps our muscles and nerves work properly.
Mineral= is found in dirt, rocks and water.
Protein=a substance found in foods such as meat,milk,eggs and beans.
calcium=a nutrient found in milk and other dairy foods to help keep your bones strong.
Calorie=how much energy our bodies get from eating and drinking.
Vegiterian=a person who does not usuly eat meat.
Aerobic=aerobic activity is any kind of movement that makes your muscles work harder and use oxegen.
Portion=an amount of food served to one person.
Fitness=is when your body is healthy and fit.
